The Beginning in 2015:
At Welding Forging Service (WFS) we operate in the medium-heavy machining sector and are specialized in the process of turning and drilling of flanges, rings, discs, bushings, forged, rolled and pressed items up to a turning diameter of 3500mm, 2100mm in height and 22ton in weight.
Our business began in 2015, with the intention of offering products, spare parts and services for the mechanical, pharmaceutical, nuclear, naval as well as Oil & Gas and Wind Power industries. WFS was founded by personnel coming from the field of forges, with many years of experience and high technical and commercial professional experience.
The company, founded in one of the areas with the greatest concentration of forges and mechanical companies in Italy, immediately
directed its funding towards high-performance machinery, such as CNC vertical lathes and CNC milling and boring machines.
Today, we have all the experience and professionalism necessary for the creation of custom-designed components for each market
sector; this is possible thanks to an important technological know-how and a certified quality system. Certifications are important to be sure of the reliability of a company: WFS is ISO 9001 and 29001 certified.
In 2025, we decided to invest in a new project:
Founded in a highly competitive market, the company quickly proved its ability to stand out through determination, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to quality. After years of solid achievements in our core business of pieces with diameter until 2300mm, the time had come to embrace a new strategic challenge: expanding our production capabilities and entering more complex market segments.
This vision led to an ambitious growth project: the acquisition of a second facility and the introduction of advanced machinery capable of machining rings and discs up to 5000 mm. It was a bold move—one that initially felt like a risk—but driven by confidence in our skills and long-term strategy.
The results confirmed our intuition. The new department achieved strong performance from the very beginning, broadening our offering and strengthening our position within the metalworking industry.
